Topographies was inspired by the vast central plain landscape I saw as I flew from west to east and back for business. Viewed from above, one gets a sense of how the land has been organized by inhabitation, even in places where there are still wide open spaces. The East/West Corridor pieces were installed as a single piece at a show at VISA in Victoria, BC in 2005.
